Baskets

Our sabai grass baskets are hand-coiled by artisans in rural Bengal from natural, sun-dried grass. They are sturdy enough for daily use and beautiful enough to leave on display.

The collection includes round basket trays set with blue pottery coasters, an indigo fruit basket, oval and boat-shaped baskets for storage, and festive baskets for gifting during Durga Puja, Diwali and weddings.

Every basket supports the women who weave it and keeps a traditional Bengal craft alive. To care for it, dust it gently and keep it dry.

Whether you need a handmade fruit basket for the dining table, a mewa basket or gift hamper basket for Diwali and weddings, or a decorative basket tray for your coffee table, every piece here is handwoven from natural, biodegradable sabai grass.
